since my favorite steel-cut oatmeal (mom called it porridge) is a great winter brekkie, I usually cook a full pot & then divide it up into single servings & freeze.
Recently I discovered freezing fresh blueberries works really well. this morning’s yummy meal was previously frozen, 1/2c blueberries, 1 cup cooked oats, microwaved with 4oz skim milk & topped with 1tsp raw sugar, omg good, only 256 calories.
